1.High abrasionresistance

2.Superiorimpact resistance

The impactstrength of uhmw-pe is at the top  in allengineering plastics, the impact strength of UHMW - PE is two times that of PC,ABS five times, POM and PBTP more than 10 times. The impact strength increasewith the increase of molecular weight, reach maximum when the molecular weightof 2.2 million, and then gradually decreases with the molecular weightcontinued rise.

3.self-lubricity

UHMWPE  has excellent self-lubrication because it'svery low friction coefficient (0.05-0.11). Under the condition of nolubrication,it's second only to the polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)which has thebest lubricity in plastics; When it is in the form of sliding or rotating, it'slubrication is better than steel and brass add lubricating oil.

4.excellentchemical resistance

Uhmw-pehas excellent chemical resistance, in addition to the strong fluoride acid,at acertain temperature and the concentration range, it can resist corrosivemedium(acid,alkali, salt)and organic medium (except Tea solvent). between thetemperature 20 ℃ and 80 ℃,impregnated 30 days in 80 kinds of organic solvent , appearance without anyabnormal phenomenon, physical properties are almost no change.

5.impactenergy absorption

Uhmw-pehas excellent impact energy absorption, impact energy absorption value is onthe top of all plastics. Thus damping noise very well, has good silencingeffect.

6.healthyand non-toxic

Uhmw-pehealth non-toxic, completely accords with the standard of Japanese healthassociation, and get the approval of food and drug administration and  agriculture department of the United States ,can touch food and drug directly.

7.Non –adhesive

Uhmw-pesurface adsorption force is very weak, and its ability to resist adhesion issecond only to PTEE,which has the best resist adhesion in plastics, so it'shard to adhere with other material.

8.lowwater absorption

Uhmw-pewater absorption rate is low, generally less than 0.01%, only 1% of PA6, thusdon't have to dry before processing.
